Four 3-bedroom townhouses along the farmer’s ditch, two blocks south of Pearl Street. These units all face south, with decks opening to the sound of water and filtered sunlight through the trees. The spacious 2,000 sf units have an elevated main level with a kitchen, dining, living room, powder and flex room. Upstairs, the master suite faces south with two additional bedrooms to the north. Each unit also has a roof top deck with panoramic views of Boulder. This project received unanimous approval and numerous positive comments from the City of Boulder Planning Board during review.

A brownfield project in Old Town Lafayette set along the historic main street of town. The project consists of 18 three-bedroom units, with decks, attached garages, and basements. A commercial building anchors the corner of Simpson and Iowa Streets and provides a mixed-use component for the neighborhood. The architecture is a modern interpretation of the squared-off false front facades typical along the historic street, and the commercial building shares massing and details with an earlier structure that once sat on the site. The project was positively received by the City of Lafayette planning staff and City Council.

A unique 300 unit, age-restricted community is envisioned as a socially active, environmentally sustainable place for aging-in-community. The project is modeled on European rural villages with medium density, closely sited buildings that include a full range of uses for a vibrant community including a village market, wellness center, co-working facilities, live/work spaces, and a community garden. All of this is set on a stunning 85 acre parcel where only 30% of the land area is developed. The balance is left as a permanent nature reserve abutting hundreds of acres of adjacent open space. The project has involved extensive environmental analysis, lifestyle research, and community outreach over a number of years.
